Russel M Nelson said “I invite all, including those not of our faith, to fast and pray on Good Friday, April 10, that the present pandemic may be controlled, caregivers protected, the economy strengthened and life normalized.” One individual said “I am Egyptian and a member of the Coptic Church. I will fast and pray with you. God help us,” Another said ““I am a Buddhist. Also a respiratory therapist. I believe in God and fasting and prayer. I am honored to join you all.”
Another said “If you all don’t mind a pagan, I am all in.” One person responded that they are an athiest but their mother believes in God so she will join in fast. The national association of Avengelicals is also calling for a fast on Good Friday.
As this friday approaches, people are putting away their differences of belief aside and joining each other to call down the powers of heaven to fight the Covid Virus.
