Putin has decided to bring back the homestead act which created wonders in Russia prior to the communists taking over. The communists eliminated all of the homesteads that created a huge expansion in Russia. The Russian government was inspired by Galusha Grow and Abraham Lincoln’s Homestead Act signed into law in the 1800’s. The United States created the greatest stimulus to the United States when it approved the Homestead Act. It was said that the barbed wire for the fencing alone created the industrial revolution with it’s huge demand for steel. The Royal family which owns billions of acres and is the largest landholder in the world has yet to follow Russia’s move. The Royal Family in the United Kingdom is said to have enough land just in the United Kingdom to give every person in the british Isles an acre of land. The Royal Family owns billions of acres throughout the world. The United States eliminated the Homestead act under the Jimmy Carter Presidency and has yet to bring back the very act it pioneered.
