Kathleen Thorson was just 34 when she died suddenly after giving birth. She was taken to the hospital after she suffered intracerebral hemorrhage, or bleeding inside her brain. Her husband Jesse Thorson said that Kathleen appeared healthy until this event occurred. The 12 organs will be able to help save a dozen lives. Jesse said “My 7-year-old told his first grade class that his mom has ‘helped people.”
