Thomas Gunderson who was shot in the leg in Las Vegas stood up from his hospital bed for the President and First lady. When Melania Trump said that it would be unnecessary he still felt he needed to stand. Thomas Gunderson said “I will never lie down when the President of this great country comes to shake my hand! There may be plenty of issues in this country but I will always respect my country, my president and my flag,” Gunderson wrote on his page.
