Hong Kong Has Unveiled Plans To Build Artificial Island For $80 Billion which could be a model for how Other Cities can Expand.

Hong Kong plans to build an artificial island that will be on 2, 500 acres of land and could have 400,000 housing units on them. The new project is set to being in 2025 but this could have implications for the United States and other western countries which are finding property values to be too high.

Perhaps New York, New Jersey, California, Hawaii or other US Locations might consider building artificial islands to combat the ever increasing housing costs. While Hong Kong plans on turning 70% of the housing units into government housing, the United states could homstead 70% of the units which would enable people to own land for free, get loans on the real estate and build businesses if they like.
