Jim Green believes that Mars can be transformed into an earth like planet by creating a magnetic field around the planet that will allow it to heal itself and rebuild an atmosphere similar to earth. He claims that energy particles form the sun strip away the atmosphere and prevent Mars from being filled with oceans and greenery.
