Forgotten Founder Of The United States Bill Of Rights

Few people know the story of George Mason who played an important role in American history. George Mason refused to sign the constitution because they did not have a bill of rights. Eventually a bill of rights was ratified that would protect americans from a possible tyrannical government. He is known as one of the fathers of the bill of rights with James Madison but some consider him the grandfather since the bill of rights is modeled after George Mason’s Virginia declaration of rights.
