Mark was a mentally-ill homeless veteran living on a couch in the woods near Houston when he met Eddie, a modern day good Samaritan. Eddie gave Mark food, clothes, shelter — and hope. “I don’t know where it will end,” says Eddie, “but I basically told God I’d see it through.” The journey God took the men on was messier, and more rewarding than either of them could have anticipated.
